I'm working on setting up my Phoenix 1212.īTW, why don't you post what you did to get your engraver working, just in case somone has similar problems in the future, their resolution might be right here. Engrave (and in the controller as well, I think) you can set the spindle to return to "view" location (upper right corner) once it finishes engraving, so it's out of the way, and you can inspect your engraving or add in a new piece to engrave. I would suggest timing a few dog tags from start-finish. My guess is yes, it's fast enough and the engraver is compact enough to take with you. But, it probably is if you are using a clamp or jig. you control the speed of the engraver, but it depends if you're just scribing, how many lines or filling TTF. Engrave into Single Line fonts - the manual shows how.
